Missy is still recovering from her very successful weekend last week. And it's been a busy week for the humans with sewing lessons, a sewing photoshoot (more on that next weekend) and a two day training course renewing my first aid at work certificate!
In addition to watching all the hard work, Missy is also recovering from an upset stomach (no idea what she's eaten, but apart from being very gassy and loose, she's right as rain!) so we decided on a quiet weekend for her.
With it being mothers day today, we decided to take my mum out to the Scottish Owl Centre for the day. I am pleased to say that it was an absolute success!
It was cold. It was a bit grey and miserable. But it was dry. We arrived, saw the first show, got my mums photo with Tony the Tawny owl (below), chatted to the keepers for about an hour (mum snuck off to warm up in the gift shop) and then watched the second show. Then it was home for tea and a biscuit and mum was off again before the afternoon dog walk.
Not a bad wee day.
Sunday was a quiet one. I won't lie, I had guarded Sunday to myself like Gollum protecting the One Ring and I am pleased to say that it remained that way. We bumped into a doggy friend on the morning walk, I pottered at crafts and jam making (and had an impromptu sewing lesson call with my sister) and that was it. The day passed far too quickly for my liking and here we are at a new week.
It's set to be a busy one as it's my dance show on Saturday! Until then, here's a peak at the long awaited unveil of my star wars disney bound.
Such beautiful photo's! And can't wait for the reveal!
